The graphics in my document keep reverting to their original size after I've resized them!

If you insert a graphic in your document and, to reduce the file size, link it to the file, then resize the graphic; and find that, whenever you open the document subsequently, the graphic returns to its original size, this is a bug that was fixed by the Word 97 SR-1 patch.  Download and apply the patch, and you should not be bothered with this problem again.
